The Golden Girl, Estelle Getty Dies at 84
I have a secret love of the Golden Girls. I think I have seen just about every episode and I know all the words to the theme song by heart. I just wanted to pay tribute to one of the Ladies who made the show what it was.
So, thank you for being a friend.

New Earth Friendly Milk Jugs are Worth the Spills
Redesigning something as ubiquitous as the milk jug is a daring move. It is almost a given that the majority of people are going to find reasons for hating it. But then I discovered the reasoning behind the change: it makes the milk last longer. So what are the benefits of the new “square” jugs?

Walmart has a new logo
On Monday Walmart announced it will update store logos as part of an ongoing evolution of its overall brand.

This is what the new logo looks like. From what I can gather the plan is to implement this little by little in stores across the country. The new signs will be a rusty orange color with the logo reversed out in white.
